And that's what happened when I tried. But what confuses me, is that there is no "Text Area" (or "Textarea") control panel. So where does the "textarea" link send me? > Second, note that this is for *external* links, as such it requires a > full URL I'm trying to find out about a per-link means to specify that the new page is to be opened in a new window (or tab). We know the "target" argument (no argument value required) to fully-qualified external links does that. > On my test site, when the option is enabled, using > > [http://tiki.org|hello tiki.org|target] > > opens the link to in a new browser window, as expected. > > Are you trying to create a link form one Tiki page to another, that will > open in a new window? I'm working on a MoinMoin-to-Tiki migration tool. I'm trying to translate MoinMoin link arguments to Tiki. In MoinMoin, you can open a link in a new window by specifying "target=_blank" as a link argument. So the answer is yes. > If so, I think the only way to do that is by creating a fully-qualified > link: > > [http://yourdomain.com/tiki/SomePage|Click here to open SomePage in a new window|target] Okay. That's what I wanted to know. I think I don't want to do it like this, because the links would become dependent on the host name. And I also would like to prefer internal links, because they are renamed automatically when the linked page is renamed. And external links require at least the web server's Tiki root directory to be specified (like "tiki"). And there might be more reasons for prefering internal links. Alas, internal links don't support any links arguments at all. Thanks for your answer!
