Well, I have to admit we do need certain constructs to get the job done...

You used to produce a single rooted output, but we have managed to work
around that.

One of the few remaining things is this copy-of requirement in some cases.
We are studying on ways to circumvent this (or put it in there
automatically).

Please forgive us, it's not very clean. And worst of all ill documented.
We will have to wait until Laurens is back from Hawaii. This is his part and
it's pretty complex.
