Hi there,

Jason, I remeber your post about the building of a OS X package.
Allthough I actually don't see what this package should be good for.
Not, that I'm in doubt of anything or the like, I just don't get it.
Maybe you can explain the goals of such a package to me. Meanwhile I
try to explain how I installed wyona on my Mac (w/ OS X):

1. downloaded the tomcat binary from the tomcat site
2. installed tomcat
3. created start- und stop-files, set the path to tomcat accordingly
4. downloaded wyona
      - the given Linux-binary-snapshot
      - optional: the nighly build snapshot
5. put the wyona.war in the right place
6. restart tomcat

Sure, this path might be a bit steep for Joe McAverage, but it's
faisible. The next problems for Joe McAverage arise, when he has the
idea to get an update (download a new nightly-build), or when he
want's to use cvs (Apple provides an introduction
<http://developer.apple.com/internet/macosx/cvsoverview.html>).

And, if the User want's to avoid installing tomcat as an binary with
the terminal there are packages of tomcat around (don't have a URL
handy).

Please tell me, do I miss a point?
