It is my pleasure to announce the release of the .9.1.0 Beta for Xaraya.
This release is another step towards the 1.0.0 release. We have upped the
version number to the .9.1 series as we have finished the main architectural
changes within the core and are now moving into the performance and
consistency arena.

A brief summary of the changes follows.

-- ADODB upgraded to latest version. Includes changes to data dictionary
and performance.
-- ADODB cache can now used for Vars and Privilege calls. Note -- This
could cause a performance decrease depending on your system
-- Exceptions system now templated. All output should now be accessible
from a theme.
-- Persistent Theme Vars are working and cached.
-- pnLegacy changes. PostNuke API modules without a database table should
now run.
-- Beginning work with Oracle DB.
-- Performance enhancements from a restructuring in the Privileges
(disabled winnowing).
-- Many xhtml compliance fixes.
-- Multisites module now in full distro.
-- Many multi-site enhancements and de-hard coding of paths and prefixes.
-- PHP-Nuke import script.
-- Bluepro Theme added to full distro.

And much more. The changelog is just of the core files and many module
enhancements have also made their way into .9.1.0. This release is a leap
in stability and performance and is just the beginning of the new
development cycle.

I appreciate all the work that everyone has done, from the developers doing
bug fixing, to everyone that is doing the testing and reporting. We still
need the help and the ideas, so please do not hesitate to pose a new idea or
bug report in the Bug Tracker.
