Correct, admitted, as it functions now that wouldn't work very pleasantly if
you had 20 new items everyday. I'm betting on advances on that front. It's
the concept i like, to not hardcode the short urls and be able to configure
them.
For bkview (for which i was planning on the encode/decode) this works pretty
good now. 

And besides, xlink only works with items, not
