The setup can easily be imported from xml and a simple tag used to add an avatar tag wherever you want on your site. The code is part of the xarigami branch code and if anyone wants to discuss it's implementation in xaraya core i'm happy to discuss it further. I dont' ahve time to tease out the code from all the other changes.
