I use a company called hostingmatters, http://www.hostmatters.com/, they
have great support. There isn't phone support, but they have forums and
a helpdesk and any questions I've had have been answered in 15 minutes,
max 30 minutes. They have a couple plans ranging from $6 to $36.

They also are running the lastest versions of php and mysql on nearly
all of there servers. I think one may have php 4.3.2 but most are
running 4.3.3 not that there is a whole lot of difference between the
two. But they always keep there software up to date from what I have seen.

My site isn't quite as active as yours, but I doubt they would unplug a
site for getting 2000 visitors as long as you don't go over your
bandwidth I think you would be fine, and they give you alot of
bandwidth. I think I have 13GB for $11 a month.

And also I've ask them to look into adding bk to some servers and they
said they would look into it and see what they could do. They want to
test the software a bit to make sure it won't have any neg. effects.

I would recommend checking them out, I've been using them for a year now
and have been really impressed.
