Is it possible to know how many connections are autorized without asking the
host?
In fact in their email they said :
"When I load your page, it seems slow to load - are you doing any big
database queries on the frontpage? Are the tables indexed correctly? If you
have database problems then what is most likely happening is that during
high traffic times your site is locking up the database and causing the
server to become very slow and eventually crash."
As you say xaraya do not use persistent connections, neither ipb i think.
I'm almost sure my site has problems after they have upgraded the server...
