Haven't read all the details on this yet but thought I'd mention it just in case. http://it.slashdot.org/it/05/01/27/1546222.shtml?tid=220&tid=172&tid=95 If you have a Windows server, then I would presume you would have a firewall anyway - if not then its about time you did. Unless you need remote database access it is worth blocking access to 3306 remotely and tell mysql itself not to accept remote connections. miko
