I wasn't talking about 2x development here at xaraya.com being 'totally
closed'. 2x development has never been closed at xaraya.com. The code
has always been open, on mtn notices, dicussed in irc, and on trac and
available to anyone who wants it via monotone or nightly snapshots. It
looks like it just stopped at some point.

My comments were about 2x development going on in private now - totally
out of the public eye - ie closed source development. That's the
development you mentioned was going on now for 2x. That must have been a
deliberate choice made to do that rather than commit to 2x repositories.

The "2x" project is now not a xaraya project from what you are saying,
but a private initiative in code that you hope will take over from the
public branch.

That in turn is now having the opposite effect of what was the policy
here, and i know what marc used to want. Its effect seems to be to
encourage  more 1x development rather than the focus on 2x development,
at least in the 'xaraya' project.

That was what i meant, just to clarify.
