According to copyright law and the notice we decided on when we redid
the whole repository on changing to DDF as copyright holder, we chose
the range of dates if you recall as this was the normal method for
websites, or software where there were ongoing or continuing  changes.
Thus we have ranges in all our files.

I can't recall the references we used at the time but could probably dig
it up, but this is one current reference for the UK.
