Good points. Some diagrams would probably help to describe an overview - and
they are fiddly to do, so are probably being left until last. The
documentation is still very new, and most effort is going into development
at the moment, with little time to document what is being done.

Andy Vogel is the documentation man (prolific and accurate too). If you want
to put any kind of overview together yourself, collected from the various
places you have found, then I am sure that would help immensely in getting
the guide completed. The few bits I have sent Andy in the past have been
incorporated very quickly.
