That's the same as what I found when I looked through the code earlier, yes :)

Items are linked to certain categories, so that's where the Link comes from.
At least, that would be my guess...

Hmmm, perhaps that one never got finished & committed :-)

I'll upload something untested I have on my own test site, and you can
have a look to see if it does what you need. It's been a while since I
played with those privileges, sorry.

BTW, you do know that you can limit access to submit articles in
certain categories directly from the articles privilege wizard, don't
you ?
