What appears in the XML files and what is displayed on the screen are=20
not necessarily the same.

This is why it is a good idea to only ever translate the strings via the=20
translation module - it will do the right thing. Do not just edit the=20
XML files - for one thing, unless there is a good reason I'm not=20
planning on doing anymore merges into BitKeeper - all translations=20
should come from de.xaraya.com now.
(and no noone can have FTP access)

So go through the existing translations and make sure the umlauts, etc=20
are all set correctly - if they display correctly in the translations=20
module then they're correct. What they look like in the XML files is not=20
so important.
