For the record, I have been blogging with Xaraya for quite a long time, 
and it is pretty easy. Just follow the advice mentioned above, and then 
you will need to find a blogging client to submit blog articles. There 
are even a couple for Firefox, but for people who are new to this a 
standalone application to submit blog articles may be easier.

In the overview for the xmlrpcserver module a few examples are even 
mentioned.
