how to index select-fields in zcatalog?

Upps ... I´m sorry - somehow I posted to the wrong thread before ... Here I try again: is there a way to index the selected values of select and multi-select fields with zcatalog as well? textfields are indexed, but i get no results on select-field values! ZMS: ZMS 2.11.1-51 (Build #131k) ZOPE: (Zope 2.10.4-final, python 2.4.4, linux2) PYTHON: 2.4.4 In the meantime I tried to use TextIndexNG3 for indexing: I installed TextIndexNG3 (Ver. 3.2.2) from the source (which works fine). Within ZMI -> system configuration I checked the option "Search with TextIndexNG" ... (after zope restart of course) TextIndexNG3 is available in the ZCatalog -> Indexes tab ... I cleared the catalog for a "fresh start" ... but after reindexing there is no content at all in the index! even in combination with "Search with TextIndex-type" set to "TextIndexNG" or "TextIndexNG3" there is still no content in the index.
