Hi Diez,

you said you forgot passing parameter '-i' the first time. But since version 0.6c7 of easy_install this is the default parameter (you installed 0.6c11 according to ZMS install instructions). Check this here - (http://peak.telecommunity.com/DevCenter/EasyInstall#command-line-options) .

That means you invoked the same command the first and the second time. Something else must have been the difference between your buggy ZMS the first time and a smoothly running ZMS the second time.

Dear Diez, please investigate this issue to find out, what went wrong. Others must be enabled to recognize a system misconfigured during installation. If there is a bug in newer Zope versions that concerns running the latest ZMS version, please let us know.

Dear ZMS core developers at H+L,
a public issue tracker could be of real value for people that look for open issues to locate the source of their problem.(I even had issues, already reported to you, but not visible to me). It is not possible to get informed about open issues.

Please offer more insight into the relationship between a textual description of an issue, related source code changes and a statement about the state of this issue. ZMS/changes.txt does not offer all of this comprehension to me. That could be of great value for people developing with ZMS. All you need to do is to use the issue tracker at your TRAC instance at http://zmslabs.org.

Regards,
Sascha Gottfried
