Don't be so sad. It is not as if your upgrade will be lost.
Don't forget that a new year contest begin next week, so you
will be able to upload your new code then.

Or may be the main point for you is to win the contest ? In
this case, you may have to wait one year :)

I don't really understand why you have not just upload your
code if it was ready. I see no reason to wait the last moment
to do your upload, except having few extra hours to code.

In this case, I think it will be better for next contest to
freeze the upload between first and last matches of the day.
This way, updates has to be done before the 2pm hour to be
taken into account.

So, just to give the opinion of someone not involved in the
actual top of fame : doing an exception for your new robot
code would be, according to me, unfair.

Yeah ! And be ready for next roboka.org contest ! :)

I am just disappointed the end of this year contest occurs
when robots have evolved to the knee walking. I have nothing
against knee-walking. In fact, I find the idea quite good
(well done Bob !), and as several robots are now using it, the
winer will be the best knee robot. Hopefully, Bob has revealed
it's strategy before the final day ;) which is according to me
quite fairplay compared to realeasing it just the final day.

But knee-walking is child walk :)
And I am sure that this strategy will be rapidily obsolet, as
soon someone released an efficient walk-on-feet robot :)
(my actual prefered is freetime one. I think it is the most
actual evolved walking robot, it indeed seems to be the only
robot with real time walk balanced compensation).

And I have never been so close to released my own wonderfull
walking robot ;) ... even if it is not yet ready, turning my
speech as some kind of vaporware :)
