Hi ! Have just looked the fights of the 10 first competitors, to see what best ranked fighters are able to do. I am off course very impress by Coyote blitz attack ! A good idea executed very fastly ! I hope he will soon update to see what he else can do :) Another robot I love is Muhammad_Ai : is walking sequence is the fastest and most natural I have seen ! Really cool ! And he stands up really fast too ! A cool thing is teh Sonovabatic presentation file, describing evolution of the robot. It's cool to read his comments about the fights and the the work he does :) Concerning the robot itself.. hum.. more a frog robot than an humanoid one ;) But the best frog in the contest :)) And I like the way he succed to make the robot really jump. And last but not least, my prefered robot (with Muhammad_Ai) is Fender. I find his walking sequence a bit slow (compared to muhammad one), but really elegant. The use of the ankle to equilibrate robot's weights on one foot avoid to have the un-natural right and left back oscillation of the other robots.
