*Description*
Multi-level modeling (MLM), or deep metamodeling, represents a significant =
extension to traditional  object-oriented modeling with the potential to dr=
amatically improve upon the utility, reliability and complexity of models. =
In contrast to conventional approaches, they allow for an arbitrary number =
of classification levels and introduce other concepts that foster expressiv=
eness, reuse and adaptability. A key aspect of the multi-level modeling par=
adigm is the use of entities that are simultaneously types and instances, a=
 feature which has consequences for conceptual data modeling, language engi=
neering and for the development of model-based software systems.

The objectives of the MULTI series are to provide a forum for the multi-lev=
el modeling community to address the foundations of multi-level modeling ap=
proaches and to support future multi-level modelers through better DSMLs, t=
ools, methods and guidelines. The workshop encourages the presentation of c=
ase studies and tool demonstrations. Furthermore, a challenge is organized =
which is aimed at comparing different approaches to multilevel modeling. Th=
e challenge description is available on the workshop website.

Topics include, but are not limited to:
- the nature of elements in a multi-level hierarchy and how best to represe=
nt them,
- fundamental aspects of MLM such as composition and decomposition,
- experiences and challenges in providing tool support for multi-level mode=
ling,
- experiences and challenges in applying MLM to large and/or real-world pro=
blems,
- model management languages (transformation, code generation etc.) in a mu=
lti-level setting,
- criteria and approaches for comparing multi-level modeling approaches,
- integration of modelling and programming languages in a multi-level setti=
ng,
- definition and analysis of behavioral semantics in a multilevel setting,
- design patterns addressing when and how to apply multi-level metamodellin=
g,
- multi-level modeling of AI systems (knowledge graphs, machine learning), =
and
- multi-level conceptual data modeling.


*Submission Guidelines*

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another jou=
rnal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- regular papers (10 pages)
- challenge papers (10 pages)
- position papers (5 pages)

Authors submit their papers as PDF files via Easychair. Accepted papers wil=
l be included in the joint workshop proceedings published by the IEEE.
