[bdbxml] Problem with lower-case

Hi,
I'm trying to make my search in db xml case insensitive and I found
XPath/XQuery function lower-case.
But if I use this function, I got just error.
For example: '/entry[contains(meta/author, "ak")]' works perfectly, but
'/entry[contains(lower-case(meta/author), lower-case("ak"))]' ends up with
DB_PAGE_NOTFOUND.

Is it possible to use this function? If not, how else could I make search
case insensitive?
