Hello Conrad I tried to install individual package from dbxml-2.1.8. The package included in dbxml-2.1.8 are (BerkeleyDB , Xerces, Pathan, XQuery, DBXML) 1. Extracted dbxml-2.1.8 2. Installed Xerces (skipped BerkeleyDB installation as it is installed in /usr/lib) 3. Installed Pathan and Xquery 4. But when i try to install dbxml with ( --with-berkeleydb=/usr/lib/ ) it gives following error. ----------------------------------- checking if --with-berkeleydb=DIR option specified... /usr/lib/ configure: error: /usr/lib not a valid Berkeley DB tree. Note that Berkeley DB must be configured and built with '--enable-cxx'. ----------------------------------- What is the problem. Should i use the BerkeleyDB source tree from "dbxml-2.1.8" source tree. Will it work for my case; if yes will there be any version conflict with existing libdb-4.2 installed.
