Hi,

after my thread from yesterday, i tried while i waiting for some help, to
compaile xmldb with ./buildall -x gcc on my solaris box.
I tried to use the /usr/local/ path form sumfreeware (gnu - like) and the
solaris /usr/ucb /usr/ccs Tree

I get always the same error: (here with the /usr/local PATH)
std::basic_string<char, std::char_traits<char>, std::allocator<char>
>::basic_string(unsigned int, char, std::allocator<char>
const&).libs/eval.o (symbol belongs to implicit dependency
/usr/local/lib/gcc/i386-pc-solaris2.8/3.4.2/../../../libstdc++.so.5)
ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors. No output written to .libs/eval
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [eval] Error 1

Does anyone know how to get rid of it? How to run buildall on a solaris
2.8 on Intel Proc?

I really want to get start to get familiar with sleepycat because it
sounds good to me, java and perl is what i need! So Sleepycat xml is
excactly for what i am looking for. But.... i can not get it to work to run
a simple example to get start with it, so.... please help me with the first
steps.

Thanx a lot!
