Ok, gcc 4.1.0 seems to work. Thanks for the tip.

If anyone else have trouble compiling it on FreeBSD, please try the
following command line:

# sh buildall.sh -m gmake -c gcc41 -x g++41

Of course gcc 4.1.0 must be installed. Just install it from the ports:

# portinstall gcc41
