Auto Log not writing LogBackups

Hi List,

one of our instance suffers from the phenomenon of not writing log-backups anymore.
log-area is only backuped and freed after manually restarting the db.

Auto Log is, off course, set to "on".

Normal Backup operation is working wo problems.

Any clues?
