These licenses are the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) and the Sun Industry Standards Source License (SISSL). OpenOffice.org also uses the Public Documentation License (PDL) for modifiable documentation that will not be included in any final product but will be of service to users. The LGPL license does not require the product in which the LGPL code is used to be made public, while GLP requires the code to be made public. However does using mckoidb.jar mean that the client must be made available as GPL ? I don't think so. From my point of view does GPL mean that any changes made to the original code must be made public. However using the GPL code as a library does not make my code GPL. That is my interpretation of GPL.
