Metakit with Python 2.3?

Is anyone using metakit with Python 23? I grabbed the latest CVS
because i'm using a VC++ 7.1 built Python.

I crash whenever I try to get a 'repr' of any metakit objects.

import metakit
db = metakit.storage()
db

crash.

:(

Any ideas?
