do i need to set up mysql cluster for mysql-ha to work?

I'm implementing mysql failover. Basically, i have one master and one
slave set up. I see mysql-ha project and wondering if i need to set up
mysql cluster in order to make mysql-ha to work? thanks. --xinhuan
