The mysql.com web site is inconsistent on whether Connector J 5.0 is the recommended production version. In some places it recommends 5.0, other places it recommends 3.1 Is 5.0 ready for prime time? What is the official Mysql response? What's the feedback from early adopters of 5.0? Is it ready? Are there features to watch out for or turn off. For example, prepared statements can now be prepared by the server and reused. Does this work well? For example, setTimeout() appears to be implemented. Seems like there could be some edge cases. -- MySQL Java Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/java To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[email protected]
