looking for DBDesigner or MySql Workbench news

Is this the place to be for news on MySql Workbench (formerly DBDesigner)? Here is what I have gathered so far: http://www.fabforce.net/forum says "We will continue to host the DBD4 download till the release of the MySQL Workbench, its successor application that will be an official MySQL product. Then this project will rest in peace." http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/String_functions.html says: "February 15, 2004 ... Originally called DB Designer, MySQL Workbench was developed as a college project by Michael Zinner, who is now among the newest MySQL employees. ... Set for release in May, MySQL Workbench will be available under a GNU GPL; commercial pricing was not determined at press time." "Yesterday [Apr19,05] in the keynote at the MySQL Users Conference, David Axmark showed a working copy of it and mentioned that it was coming out "soon" (I think that's the word he used -- something similar at least)."
