PHPMyAdmin command line version

Hello,
 Does PHPMyAdmin (or similar) utility come in a command line version? I'm
much faster with a keyboard than a mouse.
 If anyone has ever used "dbaccess" or "isql" on Informix in the past, then
you'll know what I mean.
 If anyone knows a good user-friendly character based utility to interface
with MySQL, please let me know.
