It worked!!! I tried almost everything other than this. I even removed
entries from registry and it didn't work before. But after removing Mysql
directory from Application Data, I installed Administrator and Query Browser
and both of them work fine now.

Hi,

I would try following:
- uninstall both tools
- delete (or rename) folder "C:\Documents and Settings\[YOUR 
USERNAME]\Application Data\MySQL"
- install tools again

This procedure has helped me many times. Mysql Query Browser and 
Administrator saves their settings to that folder and I have noticed 
that uninstall doesn't empty that directory. And installing tries to 
save previous settings and doesn't overwrite those files.
