WB bug fixes [was: MySQL Workbench Problems]

What is the policy concerning patches?  I would rather spend time working with 
WB than DBD4, even if it means spending some time fixing some WB bugs, but only 
if there is a chance they will be accepted.

I would hope it is just like any other open source project, but MySQL isn't just 
any project ;)
