This is just an opinion but:
The Oracle at Delphi was hard to understand also.  But she answered many
questions at the Temple of Apollo, just like a well-tuned Oracle database
can provide many answers.
If you want easy, obvious answers, us Access.  If you want detailed answers,
use Oracle.

Dear friends:

I am really dissapointed.

Why installing and configuring Oracle is so complicated, the manuals so
extensive, the information so bulky and unclear? Get the real firts page of
info after page 30 of each manual.

Why does Oracle makes everything so complicated?

At the end, the installation should be easy-going; the deployment should be
easy!

It is maybe because the real business behind it is to be collecting fees of
training courses and certifications and a lot of HIDDEN COSTS, like the
famous Technical Support and Upgrades ---- 22% per year ------ GIVE ME A
BREAK! Please!?

Why don't they simply publish simple tutorial books with clear examples of
how to do things?

It is amazing that now they have "Oracle Press"; it is not supossed to be
part of your package receiving ALL the things you need to work with the
products?, INCLUDING ALL THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION

Why?
