:(, I have come across a few situations where this is critical, for backward compatibility. The code says something like ÍNSERT INTO MYTABLE VALUES(1,"SOME VALUE", etc). If you move the columns, the existing code breaks . And while it used to matter in pre-8i days, the order does not really make much difference anymore - except maybe if you fall into one or two very rare scenarios .... So why???
