Toad 9.5 is pretty old. We use a completely different data grid component now. Installing Toad 11.5 should fix it :)

Problem with TOAD 9.5 Data Grid Filter/Sort. All strings in the filter criteria are automaticall converted to InitCaps? I've tried to alter settings in Formatter and elsewhere, but no luck. Any ideas?

Actually, I may have lied about the part where I said this did not happen on auto-upgrade, but the work-around is still good.
 Thanks for reporting this!

Hi Gunter,
We know what's going on here and can help. Yes, there is a bug here and there is a work-around.
When you first ran Toad 11.5, Toad automatically copies your user files from your previous version of Toad. At this point, you were fine, or at least, your table sort and filter settings were fine. Once you went to Utilities > Copy user settings and copied everything again for a second time, something did not fire and your filter/sort files were not moved to the correct location.
 Work-around:
 1. Go to Toad's application data directory (options > general and find "Application data directory" You can click "Open folder" button underneath that path to get there quickly.
2. Close Toad
3. Go into the "User Files" folder
4. Look for any folder that is named after a database you connect to. Move these folders into your "Database" folder in this same directory. If prompted, overwrite.
5. Start Toad

Thanks,
Brad

 Hi,
It's great that there is a new version.
After installation I updated the setting from version 11.0 via menu. It worked but I lost the filter/sort settings for tables.
In all connections for all tables filter/sort is empty.
 Kind regards
Gunter
