EnterpriseDB, the Enterprise PostgreSQL Company, is seeking engineers to join our development team. Job title and salary commensurate with experience. Candidates must be located in Pune, India or Bangalore, India. This position involves writing and maintaining backend database code for EnterpriseDB's Postgres Plus Advanced Server and PostgreSQL; reviewing and testing patches written by other team members, and assistance in resolving customer issues. A qualified candidate will have 2-10 years of experience with the following: - At least 2 years of recent C programming experience. - Significant knowledge of database internals, either with PostgreSQL or some other RDBMS. - Solid communication skills in English, both orally and in writing. - Previous involvement with the PostgreSQL community or another open source community is a plus.
