You do the installation, migration & management of database environments.
You advise & support dev teams & users.
You stay informed of evolutions & regulations.
You design & tune database architectures.
You document everything & create procedures for certain tasks.
You write scripts and track down / keep track of issues.
You’re able to work remote & on-site at the customer.

Skills:
Good knowledge of open source tech like MySQL, PostgreSQL and NoSQL
databases.
(Some) PaaS / IaaS (cloud) experience.
Experience with security hardening.
Able to analyze performance bottlenecks.
Knowledge of external backup software is a plus.
Knowledge of monitoring software is a plus.
Experience with different operating systems (Linux, Solaris, …).
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a computer science degree program.
Fluent Dutch and English, good knowledge of French.
5 to 10 years experience as a DBA.
