However, if I run the build for the kernel the first time, I get 2 errors concerning ilivecachesink.h is missing. It seems to be generated later than the 1st reference to it. When I run the build again, it works. I kept the sceen output of the 2 trials. If it helps I can mail them!

  We've added the object files because we expect that only few
  will have the assembler installed. Unfortunately, the old 
  object files are no longer compatible with VC 7. I've put
  newer versions of these object files at 
  ftp://ftp.sap.com/pub/sapdb/bin/tmp/asmobj-vc7.zip.
  Please unpack them to 
  c:\nix\sapdbdev\V74_03_14\SAPDB_DEV\sys\wrk\fast\obj\os\I386_WIN32_32
