RE: SAP DB 7.4 build problems on Red Hat Linux 8.0

i finally managed to build SAP DB on Red Hat Linux 8.0, thanks very much
for your help!

i followed the build procedure outlined in:
http://www.sapdb.org/7.4/develop/sap_db_development.htm

in addition to these instructions i had to take the following steps for
the build to succeed:
- install GNU Bison v1.28 (v1.35 does not work)
- install Python v1.5.2 (path problems with Python v2.2.1)
- install Perl v5.005_03 (dynamic loading problems with v5.8.0)
- create /usr/spool/sql directory and make it owned by the user who will 
  be administering SAP DB software installations (sapdb)
- run 'imf.pl all' twice
