I won't bore you (or embarass me) with the details on why the TOOLSRC tree is currently slightly out of tune. ftp://ftp.sap.com/pub/sapdb/bin/patch/sapdb-vmake-src-133872.tgz contains the latest sources of vmake (=> sys/src/base). I've yet to verify that the newest sources build via autoconf and that they are then capable of building the sapdb-74 tree.
