I'm having a crashing problem with FreeTDS under OSX

Hi All,

	I've been trying to set up a shiny new Mac Pro for Ruby on Rails  
development.  I've simply tried to replicate the same setup that I  
have on my Macbook and my Linux boxes.
Unfortunately when I try to connect to SQL Server using the ODBC mode  
of FreeTDS I get bus errors whenever it calls free :(

I've done quite a bit of googling to see if I can find any information  
about this problem, and finally decided to ask here.  Is this a known  
problem, and if so is there a fix for it?
