An annoyance in using "Continue Until Here"

It works fine except an error dialog box pops up that I then have to 
close.  This box contains
"/dir/0x4076ba: No such file or directory", where /dir is my current 
directory, and the hex number  0x...:" is different each time.  Is there 
something that can be done to get rid of this?  Does anyone else have 
this problem?  I'm running the version packaged by Gentoo Linux (DDD 
3.3.12, with use flags "gnuplot readline").  The problem has been around 
for a long time.
