I recommend you to use homebrew, http://mxcl.github.com/homebrew/ , to
install it
brew install ddd
It will take care of the motif dependencies.
Take into account that homebrew is an alternative to macports/fink. You
cannot
use them together.
(I prefer homebrew.)
​My system is Mountain Lion.
