Well, it's not dead per se. The code still works but I'm not sure how
many users there are out there. Anyway, I've been having terrible trouble
with gdb and ddd, and it's a great relief to have ups working properly again.

The FreeBSD port did get moved to the attic because it broke on later
releases, but it's trivial to get it working again so I'll probably resubmit
the port. Some of the patches need to be submitted to cvs though because
they'll break for everyone. Is Tom Hughes still around? He seems to be
the last submitter.
