Life! :) Is anybody using Ups with success on linux these days?

Last I tried (a couple of years ago), debugging into shared libraries was
not working, which was a bit of a showstopper, and there were other quirks
as well.

The best alternative i've found to ups is printf(3) although nemiver seem to
deserve some attention.
