Hi,

I've wrote for my usage 2 (really) small patches for the filer :

The first one is about the rename/move/link dialog box:
   - the text is selected until the last dot (and not until the first
     dot)
   - the dialog is resized to display the whole selected text.

The second patch is about "user mounted device". Each time we leave such
a directory, the filer ask us if we want to unmount it. This boring me.
In a first time, I've just disable this functionality. But sometime it's
useful (USB device, CDRom, ...), sometime not (NFS device, ...). Then I
extend the dialog box with a new button "Don't ask again". This button
remove the current device from the "user mounted device list". Then the
filer will not ask next time we leave this device, until we unmount and
remount it. (others device are not affected).

I've also modified AppRun script to make it work even if we make a
symblink to it. Just one line modified :
-APP_DIR=`dirname "$0"`
+APP_DIR=$(dirname `readlink -f "$0"`)

If you are interested with one (or both) of the two patchs, write me.
