Are you trying to compile, or is it doing that by itself? ROX-Filer
does try to compile itself if the binary is missing, which might be a
problem (unrelated to 0install).

What is the output of e.g.

0install run -v http://rox.sourceforge.net/2005/interfaces/ROX-Filer

If you are trying to compile, look at the output of

0compile autocompile http://rox.sourceforge.net/2005/interfaces/ROX-Filer

It should print any commands it's running.
