Your libgtk+-2.0, or at least the python bindings, are to old I think. I
can work around that by providing my own to_string() method.

I kept having that problem too. I looked at ROX-Lib2's code for the
exception dialog and thought it was written in a strange way. I
rearranged the code so it was more like what I'm used to and that fixed
the problem for me. That change should be in svn.
