Summary: xfce4-battery-plugin-0.3.0 does not see ac_adapter
status
Product: Xfce Panel Plugins
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: Medium
Component: battery
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
On a HP Compaq nc6120 laptop, the battery plugin does not see the ac_adapter
status. It will always report AC connected. Similar issue for thermal_zone.
Attached patch fixes the problem for me (and I hope it is a general solution).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start battery panel plugin
2. Plug / unplug AC adapter
Actual Results:
"AC" is always shown.
Expected Results:
"AC" should only be shown if on AC power.
